"Use these words in a sentence-poem. . ."
3 hours of sleep and my manic mind
caroms from one
memory 2 another (electric synapse callow, but spry)
with 1 pygmy sprig of sanity, laid low in the chalet,
who averred
that it was going to be a very, very, very long day—
answering
the glistening
call of 0 sleep: ah, weariness!
in answer to Monday's Melting: prompt: carom, callow, spry, pygmy, sprig, chalet, glistening. manic, synapse, and aver

I love it!!! I've enjoyed seeing the different ways poets have used "pygmy spring." I'm so sorry you didn't get any sleep. But your fun poetry is worth the sacrifice. I like the playful direction the prompt has taken. Thank you for participating. :) I really like your countdown 4, 3, 2, 1, 0. So cute. Wish you were counting down to a nap.

DeleteIt has been fun--"happy" words make playful poems! :) You do such a great job creating a fun, supportive community. Oh, and I did get sleep last night. It was the night of the villanelle that sleep eluded me.
DeleteI meant "sprig" of course.
DeleteOh, you linked up with your villanelle by mistake. I fixed it.
